DESCRIPTION:\n\nGet a hands on experience learning all about the flora and fauna of Lake Jackson Aquatic Preserve! The LJAP Bioblitz Education Day will showcase different ecological experiences you can participate in at Lake Jackson. Hosted by a team of specialists\, these interactive lectures are a great way to increase your understanding of the plants\, animals and insects that rely on Lake Jackson Aquatic Preserve. Kids will especially love the interactive lectures\, as they can touch and see the nature they are learning about.\n\nRegistration required! Event is FREE! Sign up HERE!\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule:\n9:00 am Bird Hike with Jeff O’Connell\n9:45 am to approximately 12:30 pm will be rotating stations on the following topics:\nFish Identification with Andy Strickland\nAquatic Plants with Nia Wellendorf\nMacroinvertebrates with Joy Jackson\nInsect Identification with Sherry Carpenter\n\n\n\n\n\n*Each program is approximately 30-40 minutes\nFeel free to bring lunch for after the programming.\n\n\n\n
